Vacuum screws are specially designed for use in high vacuum environments. They effectively prevent the formation of virtual leaks by allowing trapped gases to escape from joints. Their design also minimizes outgassing, which is critical for maintaining a stable vacuum. This specialized function makes vacuum screws indispensable for high vacuum applications where any contamination or change in pressure can affect the process.
VOC vacuum screws are designed to efficiently prevent virtual leaks. Thanks to their vent holes, they allow trapped gases to escape during assembly, which minimizes the formation of virtual leaks. These leaks occur when gases are trapped in cavities within the connecting elements and slowly diffuse into the vacuum, which can lead to undesirable pressure increases. The special design of the VOC vacuum screws addresses this problem directly at the source.
